The city buses, night buses and express buses operate on the Ōmiya station, including the buses to Narita International Airport and Haneda Domestic Airport. Since the buses to Haneda are often affected by traffic problems, connecting with the monorail of Tennozu station or to the Keihin Electric Express Railway from Shinagawa Station is safer.

History

The station was the first private railway company in Japan, which on March 16, 1885 tetsudō Nippon (日本 鉄 道, literally: "Japan Railways " ) opened.
