Omne datum optimum

Omne optimum date is dated 29 March 1139 issued by Pope Innocent II Papal Bull concerning the Knights Templar.

Therein, the in 1128, approved by Pope Honorius II Knight Order was confirmed and placed under papal protection. In addition, the general exemption for the Templars was fixed again. It was granted the Order, among other things, a right to income from taxes, the right to bury members of the Order as well as a right to establish churches.

The cops Milites Templi of Celestine II ( 1144 ) and Militia Dei by Eugene III. ( 1145 ) extended the concessions to the Order again.
