Omni Aviation

Omni is a Portuguese air carriers. It owns several aircraft, including an Airbus A319CJ, which is for the subsidiary White Airways in use.

History

The OMNI Group, headquartered in Porto Salvo (Portugal ) was founded in 1988 as a small company for helicopter transport. In the 1990s, OMNI was known by the activities of emergency medical services in Portugal and also took to flight operations by airplanes.

In 2001, Omni acquired two aircraft Beechcraft 1900, and in 2004 two Saab 2000, which were leased long-term to the Portuguese airline Portugalia and came to their regional route network to use. The company started simultaneously with the recording of charter flights for tour operators and VIP charter flights. In parallel, advanced OMNI their helicopter operations in Brazil. The company currently operates OMNI International (2013 ) with air operators' certificates for five of their company numerous machines in Portugal, Brazil and Cape Verde.

The Grupo OMNI Aviação operates in virtually all areas of aviation and employs more than 800 employees.
