The Omni Coliseum was a sports arena, the (now CNN Center ) was located as part of the Omni Complex in the city of Atlanta in the U.S. state of Georgia.

It was founded in 1972, built on the one hand as the home of the Atlanta Flames, who came in the wake of league expansion as an expansion team in the NHL, on the other hand, such as the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA, who relocated this year from St. Louis to Atlanta. The Omni has a capacity of 15278 seats as ice hockey stadium, with a capacity of 16378 seats for basketball games and 17,500 places have for concert events. The cost of construction amounted to 17 million U.S. dollars.

Starting in 1980, the arena was only home to the Atlanta Hawks, the Atlanta Flames as they moved this year to Calgary.

Besides serving as ice hockey and basketball arena, the Omni was also known for fighting in professional wrestling which were held there.
