Omsk State Agrarian University

The State Agrarian University of Omsk (Russian Омский государственный аграрный университет ) is a college of education and research and a center for agriculture methods for the Omsk region. The college was founded in 1918 under the name National Agrarian Institute Omsk. In 1994, the Institute into the new college was integrated together with the State Veterinary Institute and the Institute of Agricultural Economics and training. Omsk University is one of the largest facilities of Agricultural Sciences in Russia. About 60,000 agricultural specialists have been trained since the inception.
