On Your Mark

On Your Mark ( Engl.: On your marks ) is a music video to a song by the Japanese band Chage and Aska. The well-known anime director Hayao Miyazaki was responsible for the 1995 released movie with a length of six minutes and 40 seconds.

Action

The plot of the video is quite complex. In the first scene several airships come and storm the base of a sect. There a bloody battle the cultists begins with the police. Two men of the combat units, see the already piled corpses a girl with wings that looks like an angel. She is chained, so the men free. The men decide to take, but she is kidnapped by a SWAT team and sent to a laboratory. There break the two men they have found, and try to free them. However, this fails because the bridge over which they want to escape with a car collapses. After a sharp drop followed by a scene in which the two men try to free the girl again, the bridge collapses, although again, but enable those fleeing the nozzle driving the getaway car, and thereby escape unscathed. Now they are free, and the men let the angel out of her car, an Alfa Romeo Spyder, escape into the air, after having released him on the hands (as it was them already appeared in some of their previous visions ).
