Ondřej Synek

Ondřej Synek ( born October 13, 1982 in Brandys nad Labem - Stara Boleslav ) is a Czech rower and the first world champion of the country in one. He won at the World Rowing Championships 2010 at the Skiff on Lake Karapiro in New Zealand. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, he won the silver medal.

He also works as a coach at ASC Dukla Praha cycling team. Rowing began in 1995 in the rowing club KV condor Brandys nad Labem. Synek is a professional goldsmith.
