One More Time is a song by French House formation Daft Punk.

Genesis

Thomas Bangalter became involved after the release of their debut album Homework in the side project Stardust for his music label Roulé and was involved in its only Hit Music Sounds Better with You. One More Time was recorded and mixed during this period. Daft Punk sampelten for the song trumpets, they assembled over a pulsating bass line and a compressed bass drum. Anthony " Romanthony " Moore contributed the manipulated with the Auto- Tune Vocal Effect. Auto-Tune was actually for the correction of vocal tracks and has already been used in 1998 for productions such as Cher's Believe and Stardust Music Sound Better with You specifically as an effect.

The single was until the release of Get Lucky in April 2013, the most commercially successful song by Daft Punk. Romanthony died 7 May 2013 in Austin, Texas.

Bangalter defended himself against accusations, for the song, a cover version of I Put a Spell on You (Part 1) by M. Diggo feat. Eddie Johns to have sampled from the year 1978.
