OnGameNet

Ongamenet ( OGN ) ( Hangul: 온게임넷 ) is a South Korean TV station that specializes in the alignment and reporting of e-sports competitions. He is part of the on- media conglomerate. OGN held from 2000 to 2012 in the StarCraft Ongamenet Star League and transmits the ProLeague ( long time together with the now-defunct channel MBCGame ). Since 2012, OGN is organized on the most important Korean tournament series in League of Legends.

Ongamenet Star League ( OSL)

The Ongamenet Star League ( OSL) was with the MBCGame Star League is the most important league in StarCraft: Brood War. The OSL begins with a group stage. There are six groups of four players each and the top two players of each group come on. These twelve players are joined by the top four players in the previous season. The second stage of the tournament consists of a second group stage with four groups each consisting of four players and subsequent playoffs, for the best two players from each group will qualify.

After the introduction of the World Championship Series for StarCraft 2 2013 OGN hosted the second season, while the first and third season of GomTV within the Global StarCraft II League was organized. 2014 there will be no further OSL.

OGN Champions

Since 2012 Ongamenet also hosts a tournament series for the title of League of Legends. Unlike StarCraft is a team game, where a team consists of five players. Besides the prize money in the amount of currently ₩ 270 million ( about 250,000 U.S. dollars or 190,000 euro ) is also about qualifying for the Riot League of Legends World Championship.

OGN Masters

With the OGN Masters a second tournament series for League of Legends was launched in 2013. Unlike OGN Champions come here two teams of an organization ( eg CJ Entus Frost and CJ Entus Blaze ) in tandem.
