Ontario Reign
The Ontario Reign is an American ice hockey team from Ontario, California. The team plays in the ECHL since 2008.
History
The Texas Wildcatters in the ECHL were to Ontario, California, relocated in the summer of 2008, having previously found no suitable venue for the following season. The team then entered into cooperation with the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League. According to the other farm teams of the Kings (Manchester Monarchs and Reading Royals ), the team received a name that is associated with the field of " nobility", and was renamed the Ontario Reign. In his first season the team immediately won the Pacific Division, retired in the following playoffs for the Kelly Cup, however, already in the first round against the Stockton Thunder from.
The Ontario Reign are just like the polar bear Berlin and Hamburg Freezers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga owned by the Anschutz Entertainment Group.
