Ooldea is a tiny settlement in the Australian state of South Australia. It lies on the Trans- Australian Railway at the eastern end of the Nullarbor Desert, about 863 km from Port Augusta. The town is located 143 km north of the parallel to the railway Eyre Highway.

Ooldea was founded as a mission station. During the construction and operation of the Trans- Australian Railway was the site of an important supply station, and later also for the nuclear weapons test site Maralinga. Today, the site is still occasionally used for filling of water resources by the Indian Pacific, but is otherwise uninhabited.
