Opel Agila

The Opel Agila ( " turned " from Latin agilis, " agile" ) is a minivan model and nominally the smallest series of the manufacturer Opel. The Agila is indeed significantly shorter than the Corsa from the same manufacturer, taking into account all three main dimensions (length, width, height) but approximately the same size as this, just proportioned differently. The current version of the Agila ( Agila B) is a common badge engineering with the Suzuki Splash.

The first-generation Agila ( Agila A) was prepared from summer 2000 to autumn 2007. The successor of Agila B, which can be referred only to a limited extent as Van or Microvan due to its significantly reduced height -to-length ratio is offered since spring 2008.

The successor of Agila A, Agila B, was first presented at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt in 2007. The launch was in April 2008.

As with the previous model, there was a collaboration between Opel and Suzuki, whose variant is called Splash. The Agila is produced as well as the splash at Magyar Suzuki Zrt. in Esztergom (Hungary).
