Opel GTC

The Opel GTC Concept is a concept car from the German manufacturer Opel, which was unveiled at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show. The design of this coupe comes from Bryan Nesbitt and should introduce the design language, which is used in the following Opel models. Simultaneously, the second generation of GM's Epsilon platform was presented with the GTC Concept.

Body

The front of the vehicle is dominated by striking air inlets in aluminum. The lighting system was realized with LED technology and the freer forms associated. This study also has the Opel Opel - rod and the Opel logo developed. The new logo includes the company name in the upper part of the now slightly narrower ring and the flash was a little plastic. The side doors include a pronounced swing. At the rear, fall on tinted tail lights, a small rear spoiler and two exhaust pipes.

Interior

The dashboard is very similar to a subsequent series production. The dashboard lights is red, this color can also be found in the decorative stitching again.

By sliding and folding down the rear seats, a flat load floor can be achieved. Opel called the seating concept as Flex -4 system, based on the Flex -7- system of the Opel Zafira and the flex -space system of the Opel Merivas.

Motor

The concept car was equipped with a revised V6 engine from the Opel Vectra C OPC and a manual six-speed gearbox. With the help of a turbocharger, a power of 300 hp is achieved (220 kW) from a displacement of 2.8 liters.
