Open Catalog Interface

Open Catalog Interface (OCI ) is an open and standardized catalog data interface for the exchange of catalog records between SAP eProcurement systems (usually " SAP Enterprise Buyer Professional " short EBP) and any other catalogs. The SAP user uses information from current catalog data for the provider over the Internet via the standard Internet protocols directly. A commonly used term for this interface is also " Punchout " because the SAP system is exited and redirected to an external online shop. The cart of the SAP system is then enriched by the articles located there, with the order. The advantage is that thus the purchase from the supplier ( usually the shop system provides ) is immediately recorded in SAP.

OCI was developed by SAP AG.

OCI is available in different versions. Currently has upgraded to version 5.1.
