Open Journal Systems ( OJS ) is an open - source software for the management and publication of peer-reviewed open- access journals. OJS was developed by the Public Knowledge Project and released under the GNU General Public License.

A large part of the journals in the Directory of Open Access Journals is powered by OJS.
