Open Source Business Alliance

The Lisog (formerly LiSoG - Linux Solutions Group eV ) was an association of open source vendors and users in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Serbia, Canada and the United States.

History

Lisog was founded on March 7, 2005 by 29 companies and institutions and consisted in May from 121 members. The office of Lisog was hosted by the MFG Baden- Württemberg and besides the association maintained contact offices in Berlin, Hamburg, Vienna, Zurich, Palo Alto and Toronto.

On 21 and 22 July 2011, the clubs have LIVE Linux Verband eV and Lisog decided to merge. The name of the new organization is Open Source Business Alliance ( OSBA ).
