Open Yale Courses

Open Yale Courses is an oriented at the OpenCourseWare concept initiative of Yale University with the goal of introductory courses at the University to make free and freely available online.

The website was launched in December 2007 with seven courses of various faculty, supported by the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation.

Some of the lectures contain copyrighted material, the Yale may not distribute over the Internet. Therefore, some videos have been cut or blackened bodies.

Currently, 42 courses from nearly all classical disciplines are represented. End of 2010, many courses were added new, covering the entire spectrum of the arts, human, social and natural sciences.
