Operation Dragon Strike

Operation Dragon Strike ( German " Dragon Strike " ) was an operation of NATO forces in Kandahar province in southern Afghanistan. The offensive began between 19 and 26 September 2010 and ended on December 31, 2010. There were at least 8,000 U.S., Canadian and Afghan soldiers involved, who fought with air support. Objectives

The aim was to expel the insurgents from Arghan dab, Zhari and Panjwai.

Course
