Operation Eagle Guardian

Core point is the rapid deployment of nine divisions from the U.S., UK, Germany and Poland, which should repel the Russian assault. At the same time, American and British ships would secure German and Polish Baltic ports. A first exercise maneuvers to be held in 2011.

Background

Originally the plan was limited to Poland, but was extended to the insistence of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania on 22 January 2010 on the Baltic.
