Operation Medusa is the name for a run of Canadian Forces offensive by NATO and Afghan forces, which was carried out from 2 to September 17, 2006 in Afghanistan against the Taliban.

Occasion of the offensive was the strong resistance of the NATO surprisingly counter hit at the assumption of command of the troops stationed in Afghanistan.

The operation focused on the area of the district of Panjwai. The area is located near Kandahar.
