Operation Stella Polaris

Stella Polaris ( North Star Latin ) was the code name of an operation to outsource technology and specialists of signals intelligence and cryptanalysis from Finland. End of September 1944 four ships arrived in Sweden, on board there were about 750 specialists with their families, as well as a large number of devices and documentation.

The operation was organized by the Japanese military attaché in Helsinki and Stockholm.
