Ophcrack
Ophcrack is a free computer program under the GPL license, the passwords using rainbow tables can crack. The program supports the import of the LM hash and NTLM hashes, including the direct importing the SAM file in Windows. So passwords are decrypted within minutes on most computers. In addition, the program dominates the brute- force method to decrypt short one to three characters long passwords quickly.
Rainbow tables for LM hashes of alphanumeric passwords are freely available, two Windows XP tables, one small, the other quickly, and one for Windows Vista / 7
Objectif Sécurité has developed additional tables for professional use, which are able to crack even longer Passwörterhashes.
