The Lac Opiscotéo is a lake in the Côte -Nord administrative region of the Canadian province of Quebec.
The Lac Opiscotéo is situated 75 km north-west of Fermont in Central Labrador. The lake lies within the Canadian Shield at an altitude of 607 m. The Lac Opiscotéo is located at the headwaters of Rivière Caniapiscau near its headwaters. The Rivière Caniapiscau hits coming from the south of the lake and leaves it at its northwestern shore adjacent to the Lac Raimbault. The Lac Opiscotéo is penetrated by many small islands. He has a longitudinal extent of 35 km and a width of about 22 km.
The name of the lake is derived from the Montagnais word meaning " where there was thunder " from.
