Outline Processor Markup Language ( OPML ) is an XML format that supports the exchange of structured information. It was developed by Radio UserLand and served at first mainly for mapping Outlines, so hierarchically structured texts that are displayed and edited with an outline editor.

One of the best known applications of OPML is now the automated exchange of RSS feeds between RSS aggregators.

In March 2006, provided an extended specification for discussion with OPML 2.0, which includes several new features, including include the type, ownerId and support for namespaces.
