Opodeldoc
Opodeldok ( of or, from Greek OPOS " sap ") is a body designated by the early modern physician Paracelsus mixture of soap, camphor, rosemary and thyme oil, which was used among other things as a means to rub against rheumatism and gout. One of the variants of the Opodeldoks is a solution of these ingredients in alcohol.
# 6 Opodeldok is described from 1926 (1951 ) under the name liniment saponato - camphoratum in the German Pharmacopoeia. He is now obsolete. Besides dubious effectiveness, it is characterized by a pungent odor.
