Opsview

Opsview is a monitoring solution based on Nagios. Opsview supports monitoring of dedicated, virtual and cloud -based systems.

Particular The focus is on Opsview on the front end, there it seeks to enhance the visibility and sorting.

Opsview supports many operating systems, services and applications such as Drupal.

Opsview also offers a free, open source version of Opsview, this is called Opsview Core.

Opsview is based on the following technologies:

  • MySQL: A relational database is used for configurations during operation and data management
  • Nagios Core: Provides the basic monitoring functions
  • Net-SNMP: Provides SNMP support provides
  • RRDtool: Provides quick and easy graphics available

As a platform Opsview Linux supports the following distributions: CentOS, Debian, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu. Opsview is also usable on Solaris 10.
