Optical contact bonding

When wringing (even pushing ) two smooth, flat surfaces are connected only by their molecular attraction forces. These must be free of dust, grease or other contaminants; to be cleaned about this with tetrachloroethene. The wringing can be used to hold glasses while they are being processed or for joining multiple gauge blocks. In Busted metals can be separated by cold welding after some time no longer.
