Orahovac

Rahovec ( Albanian: Rahoveci, Serbian Ораховац / Orahovac ) is a city in Kosovo, about 20 kilometers east of the town of Gjakova / Djakovica and 30 kilometers north of the city of Prizren. The city has about 23,200 inhabitants; the greater community, in addition to the city Rahovec includes another 35 villages, has about 73,700 inhabitants.

In the greater community, the Albanians have the majority. In addition to other small groups, the Serbs are the largest minority. In Rahovec they live in the northern, higher part of the city and in Velika Hoča ( Hoca e Madhe ), a nearby village.
