Orbital Sciences Corporation ( OSC abbreviated, often called orbital) is a company based in Dulles, Virginia company which specializes in the manufacture and launch of satellites. It was founded in 1982 and employs around 2,700 employees. Orbital Sciences Corporation is heavily involved in the arms project National Missile Defense of the United States.
