Orchestral Favorites is an album by Frank Zappa from the year 1979. Featuring five orchestral pieces on 18 and 19 September 1975 in Royce Hall on the campus of the University of California in Los Angeles from the 37 -member Abnuceals Emuukha Electric Symphony Orchestra have been recorded under the direction of Michael Zearott. Partial directed Zappa also itself the identity additionally occurring musician has so far not clearly reconstructed, the official discography noted to Tommy Morgan on harmonica and their questionable participation of keyboardist Andre Lewis. On drums drummer Terry Bozzio at that time sat Zappa. In 1977, the album of Zappa was co- transferred with the other three to Warner Brothers in order to release him from his contractual obligations towards them. After a lawsuit Album 1979 - published by Warner Brothers, while not advertised but particularly intense - just weeks after the release of Sheik Yerbouti CBS.

The cover was designed by Gary Panter and was Zappa, Warner had asked only the master tapes for the album, not authorized. However, subsequent, self made by Zappa reissues kept in the cover.
