Orciano di Pesaro

Orciano di Pesaro is a municipality with 2109 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Marche region in the province of Pesaro and Urbino in the hinterland, yet close to the sea and not far from the up to 1700 m high mountains.

Districts are Montebello, Rupoli and Schieppe. The neighboring municipalities are Barchi, Mondavio, Monte Porzio, Monte al Metauro, San Giorgio di Pesaro, Sant'Ippolito and Serrungarina. The municipality belongs to the Comunità montana del Metaurus.

On two towers Orciano di Pesaro is seen from a distance. One of the attractions of Orciano is the 40 -meter-high Torre Civica with the bell tower, the clock every quarter, half and three-quarter hours, and all hours suggests. The unusual dial has only a pointer. So my very many visitors, the clock was broken. At second glance you can see on the sheet of six Roman numerals and graduations in the inner ring for quarter, half and three quarter, the points show the full hours.
