Orco

Orco at Locana

The Orco rises at the Gran Paradiso Glacier. Then it flows at the border from Parco Nazionale del Gran Paradiso passing through Ceresole Reale and then through Noasca until after Locana. In a hamlet Locana the Valle di Pian Tonetto opens. In the municipality of Sparone Ribordone in the Orco opens. At the next village of Pont - Canavese the Soana opens. A little later in Castellamontes empties into the Orco the Gallenca. Above Foglizzo flows to the small Malesina. In Chivasso it flows into the Po.
