Order of Georgi Dimitrov

The Order Georgi Dimitrov (also Order of Georgi Dimitrov wrote, Bulgarian Орден Георги Димитров ) was donated in memory of the Bulgarian communist leader Georgi Dimitrov on June 17, 1950 by decree No. 286 of the Bureau of the Bulgarian National Assembly. The Order was awarded to both Bulgarians and foreigners to for unique merits in defense of the freedom and independence of Bulgaria and for outstanding contributions to the building of socialism. The award was the highest order of the People's Republic of Bulgaria. After the fall of communism, the Order was abolished.

Order decoration

The religious character is a made ​​of gold, the center 's portrait Georgi Dimitrov shows and is encircled by ears of wheat. About the portrait of a five-pointed red enamelled star.
