History

The Order of St. Hubert was founded as a secular orders of knighthood on November 3, 1444 by Duke Gerhard II of Jülich -Berg, to commemorate the victory at the Battle of Linnich, who had been (named after Saint Hubert ) on a HUBERT erfochten in the same year. Order decoration
