Order of the House of Orange
The House Order of Orange was founded on March 19, 1905 by Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands for the reward of the House of Orange services rendered, and reformed in 1969 by Queen Juliana. It is awarded since then in three departments.

Order of classes
The Order was instituted in five classes with the class V is divided into two stages.
- Grand Cross
- Grand Officer
- Commander
- Officer
- Knight First and Second Class
Order decoration
The religious character is a red enamelled golden Latin cross with outwardly curved arms. Each is a wreath of orange leaves between the arms of the cross. The medallion is on the front of the coat of arms of the House of Orange to the orbiting religious motto in golden letters JE MAINTIENDRAI (I'll stand ). The rear of the winning initials of the founder W ( Wilhelmina ).
Carrying method
The Grand Cross is worn with a sash from the left shoulder to right hip as well as an eight-pointed silver breast star. Grand Officers wear a six-pointed breast star and a neck order, commanders just the same. Officers and knights decorate the religious character to the band on the left chest. In the second class is the Order of Knights sign from silver.
Orange is the color of the medal ribbon.
