Order of the Rue Crown

House Order of the diamond crown is an endowment founded by Friedrich August I. 1807 Order.

Foundation of the Order

The first Saxon King Friedrich August I was only the military -St at the start of his reign. Give Heinrichs Order, which was, however, reserved for the military. Order characters

The religious character consists of a golden, green enamelled cross of St. John, with white, gold-rimmed bezel. In the angles, parts of the diamond cross in gold. On the cross is a cross of a green diamond medallion surrounded. In its center the inflated by a crown golden ciphers FA ( Friedrich August) are on a silver background to be seen. The back of the Order shows in the medallion of the Order Currency PROVIDENTIAE memor ( mindful of Providence ). This motto is to keep alive the memory of the favor of Providence that this country had the Saxon inflict upon during the Napoleonic Wars.

The ribbon is green grass, and the religious character is worn from the right shoulder to the left hip. The Order has only one class.
