Order of the Star of Ghana

Order of the Star of Ghana ( COSG ) is the highest honors of the state of Ghana, which will be awarded posthumously. The ribbon has this Order, the colors of the Ghanaian flag from left to right in the order red, yellow, green. In the past, particularly the anniversaries of independence (6 March 1957) Ghana were used to make the ceremony special people with the Order of the Star of Ghana.

In 1977, the 20th anniversary of the independence of Ghana, was to Prince Charles among the recipients of the highest Ghanaian Order.

President Jerry Rawlings awarded the Order of the Star of Ghana 's 40th anniversary, 1997, inter alia, Ebenezer Ako Adjei -.

President John Agyekum Kufuor used the 50th anniversary to honor 31 people of Ghanaian history and world history with the highest order of Ghana in 2007.
