Orders of precedence in the United Kingdom

The place in protocol order in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland - as the history of the British monarchy - long and complicated. There are separate lists for both the individual parts of the Kingdom (England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) as well as for men and women. In the UK, the social significance of rank of protocol was very large until the Second World War.
