Ordre de la Santé publique

The Order for Services to the healthcare sector ( fr. Ordre de la Santé publique ) was founded on February 18, 1938 by decree by the French President Albert Lebrun and was intended to reward persons who are in the field of public health and child protection had rendered outstanding services to the French Republic.

The presentation of the award took place on a proposal from the Minister of Health.

Order decoration

The religious character is a silver gilt Five-star cruise ( knight without gilding ) on which rests a blue enamelled five-pointed star. The star points are enclosed by small squares. The medallion is surrounded by a blue enamel ring with the inscription ORDRE DE LA SANTÉ PUBLIQUE ( Order of public health ) and shows the right -turned and easily Upward Facing head of Marianne. Carrying method
