The organization Business Forum (OFW ) is a non-profit organization which has set itself the goal since its founding in 1984 to combine academic theory with economic and entrepreneurial practice. To this end, the members of an annual economic conference ( World Business Dialogue ) organizes, unites 300 international students with as many entrepreneurs and young leaders as well as top-notch speakers. History
The guided exclusively by students company relies on more practical experience, contrary to the theoretical life of university teaching since 1984. For this purpose, the " World Business Dialogue " by Christian Rast was launched. Organization
The company is divided into eight independently operating internal departments: Speakers & Research, Human Resources, International Relations, Corporate Relations, Marketing & PR, event management, finance & controlling and quality management. World Business Dialogue
Every two years, annually since 2009, is invited to the University of Cologne to an international congress ( World Business Dialogue ) with around 600 international students, speakers and corporate participants. The goal is the dialogue between companies, researchers and students to the primary, current economic topic each year. OFW Student Consulting and Research GmbH
An important branch of the organization Business Forum (OFW ) is the OFW Student Consulting and Research GmbH - short OSCAR. The student consultancy was founded in 1992 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the OFW and is now represented with corporate offices in Cologne and Stuttgart. She advises in the areas of organizational and process analysis, marketing & sales, controlling and personnel; Market research round out the portfolio. The OSCAR GmbH supports the alignment of the " World Business Dialogue " not only in financial terms but also participates regularly with workshops and lectures.
