Organization of Yugoslav Nationalists

The ORJUNA ( Organizacija Jugoslavenskih Nacionalista, dt organization Yugoslav nationalists ) was a Yugoslav- unitarist oriented political organization that existed during the 1920s to 1929 in the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes.

It was founded in 1921 in Split lawyer Krstulović, Ljubo Neontić, Marko Nani and Edo Bulat and was originally called Jugoslavenska Napredna Nacionalistička Omladina ( JNNO; German Yugoslav Progressive Nationalist Youth). In 1922, the organization of a youth organization was transformed into an organization of people of all ages belonged. The main objective was to maintain a unitary Yugoslav state.

The organization also operated with violent methods and terrorist actions against national- Croatian and Communist opponents, and national minorities. " Separatist " Croatian and socialist activists were combated by assassinations. She worked together with the Chetnik organizations of Kosta Pećanac, Ilija Trifunović and Nikola Pašić.

The ORJUNA turned out not as a political party for election, its supporters chose pro- Yugoslav oriented parties.

As in 1929, the Yugoslav king proclaimed the royal dictatorship and dissolved parliament, supported him the ORJUNA.
