Þórhildur Þorleifsdóttir

Þorhildur Þorleifsdóttir ( German transcription Thorhildur Thorleifsdottir; born March 25, 1945 in Isafjordur, Iceland ) is an Icelandic film director, actress, dancer, and politician.

Life

Þorhildur has worked as a director on Icelandic television. She also directs opera and theater performances and works as a choreographer. 1996 to 2000 she was artistic director at the City Theatre Reykjavík.

In her political career she had between 1987 and 1991 MPs woman Alliance in the Althingi, the Icelandic Parliament.

Þorhildur is married to actor Arnar Jónsson. Their daughter is the actress known in Germany Sólveig Arnarsdóttir.
