Oriental Coin Cabinet Jena

The Oriental Coin Cabinet Jena is a collection of oriental coins at the Friedrich -Schiller- University Jena. It is operated by the Institute for Languages ​​and Cultures of East Vorderenen scientifically. The collection was founded in 1840 by Prof. Johann Gustav Stickel is located in the city center of Jena, in the building Löbdergraben 24a, and today has approximately 21,000 numismatic objects.
