Örjan Persson

Per Örjan Persson ( born August 27, 1942 in Uddevalla ) is a former Swedish national football team.

Career

Club career

Persson started his career at Örgryte IS. After the end of the season in 1964, he moved to Dundee United in December to Scotland. He was the first non-British player of the club together with the Danish striker Finn Døssing. 1966 led the two - Persson as preparers and Døssing as executor - the club for the first time in the European Cup. In the Fairs Cup, get two wins against FC Barcelona, ​​before the club was eliminated after a 0-3 away defeat and a 1-0 second-leg victory against Juventus. National

Persson 1962-1974 Swedish national team. He debuted on June 19, 1962 in a 3-0 win against Finland. At the World Championships in 1970 and 1974, he was part of the squad. After the World Cup 74 and 48 internationals he ended his international career.
