Orkan Balkan

Orkan Balkan ( born March 12, 1987 in Munich) is a Turkish football player, who also has German citizenship.

The midfielder, who is used as a right-back, played in his youth for TSV Forstenried, TSV 1860 Munich and then from 2003 for SpVgg Unterhaching.

It first performers of the second team, he was first employed by coach Werner Lorant 31 matchday of the 2006/07 season in the 2nd Bundesliga. After the descent of SpVgg in the Regionalliga Süd he firmly belonged to the first team squad.

His first professional goal came Balkans on the second matchday of the 2009/ 10 against the second team of FC Bayern Munich. After the season 2010/11, his contract was not renewed in Unterhaching.

On 22 August 2011, the Turkish first division side Orduspor announced the commitment Balkans for three years. After one season, he left this club and joined the Turkish third division Çankırıspor.
