Orlando Miracle

The Orlando Miracle were an American basketball franchise of the Women's National Basketball Association, from Orlando, Florida. It was founded in 1998 and started the beginning of the 1999 season on the game mode. The team colors were blue, white and gray. After the 2002 season, the WNBA gave its property rights in all WNBA franchises, while the league offered the rights to the franchises first all local NBA teams to. After the owner of the Orlando Magic were not ready to take on the Orlando Miracle, the franchise on 21 October 2002 was released by the WNBA for sale. On January 28th, it was announced that the franchise relocated to Connecticut and the team name is changed on Sun.

The Miracle wore their home games at the TD Waterhouse Centre. During the period of its existence, the team qualified for the playoffs once. The gain of an WNBA Championship failed to materialize.
