Orlyonok

Orljonok (Russian Орлёнок, dt: eaglet ) is a product from the Soviet period of Russian Children's Center on the northeast Black Sea coast. It is visited by approximately 20,000 children from all regions of Russia. It is located 45 km away from the town of Tuapse Krasnodar in the district and overlooks the sea.

History

On April 15, 1959, the construction of the children's holiday camp was approved by the Ministry of Health. On July 12, 1960 this was opened with 520 children from 37 regions began the first 45 - day event. Today every summer to enjoy their stay in Orljonok for 21 days up to 3,500 children.
