Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale

The bacterium Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale is the only member of the genus Ornithobacterium. It is the causative agent of an infectious respiratory disease of chickens birds and plays a role in the fibrinous serositis of chicken and turkey. Properties

O. rhinotracheale is a gram-negative, Real rods of 1-3 microns in length and 0.2-0.9 microns thickness.
