Ornytion

Ornytion (Greek Ὀρνυτίων ) In Greek mythology, the son of Sisyphus and father of Phocus and Thoas.

After the escape of his nephew Bellerophon, king of Corinth, he took over the government. However Corinth lost its independence and became a vassal state of the Argives. Since his eldest son Phocus emigrated to Phocis by Tithorea, the government fell after the death of Ornytion to his younger son Thoas.
