Oron District

The District d' Oron ( ger district Oron ) until 31 December 2007, an administrative unit of the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. Capital was Oron- la -Ville. The District was divided into the Cercle (German circles) Oron and Mézières. In 2002, the municipality of La Rogivue was merged with the municipality maracones.

The District consisted of 22 municipalities was 76.03 km ² and had 10'924 inhabitants ( end of 2006).
